Summary

I will NOT fall for the smart-mouthed, pretty-boy billionaire who owns Oakley Island。 But his yacht is another story …

Love and happily-ever-after? It’s not for me。 I’m much happier keeping everyone at arm’s length, focusing on my government cybersecurity work。

But then I push things a little too far and hack my way into trouble。 When I need to lay low and stay off the radar for a bit, what better place to do so than on Oakley Island with my sisters?

With limited housing options, I reluctantly agree to stay on the yacht of the very annoying Benedict King—the billionaire who has been messing—flirting?—with me since we met。

I did NOT agree, however, to a voyage out to sea。

But I wake up to find the yacht that should be docked and empty somewhere in the Atlantic with two government agents tasked with babysitting me and one Benedict King。

Who also lied about being my boyfriend。

Typical rich man—thinking he can take whatever he wants。

But he won’t take my heart。 Not even when I see his softer side, see behind his walls, see the real man behind the reputation。

Honestly, this might be more dangerous than any of the other trouble I stirred up。 Because if I fall for Benedict King, I’m not sure there’s any hope of rescue。

Sadie and the Bad Boy Billionaire is a closed door romantic comedy with mild suspense, sizzling kisses, and a boat full of witty banter。 The Oakley Island Romcoms follow three very different sisters as they renovate the house they inherited and find love on the island along the way。 The stories are standalone, but if you like continuous stories, we recommend reading them in order。 Each book is closed-door, with sizzling chemistry and swoony kisses only。

I’ve been eagerly awaiting the final story in the #oakleyisland series and it did not disappoint。 Everytime I get lost in one of Emma’s universes, I don’t want to leave。 I adore what she and Jenny have done with these 3 sisters and I’m not sure I can say Sadie’s story was my favorite - that’s only because I love all 3 sisters。 This story partially takes place on a boat (yacht, but who’s counting。。) and has usually friendly pelican, until it’s not and blink*blink*blink, The laughs were definitely I’ve been eagerly awaiting the final story in the #oakleyisland series and it did not disappoint。 Everytime I get lost in one of Emma’s universes, I don’t want to leave。 I adore what she and Jenny have done with these 3 sisters and I’m not sure I can say Sadie’s story was my favorite - that’s only because I love all 3 sisters。 This story partially takes place on a boat (yacht, but who’s counting。。) and has usually friendly pelican, until it’s not and blink*blink*blink, The laughs were definitely real and the chemistry between “Benjy” and Sadie was hot。 In true Emma & Jenny fashion, everything stayed PG(13) and I loved the Epilogue(s)。 。。。more

This book was absolutely adorable and exactly what I was looking for。 I have loved following the Markham sisters in their journey on Oakley Island。 This was a great way to wrap up their family stories。

Okie Dokie, this story was sooooo good it made me wish I could visit the fictional Oakley Island and hang out with these characters。 Ben。 Just Ben。 *swoon* I have been highly anticipating this story from the very first moment Sadie and Ben had a moment in Eloise and the Grump Next Door。 The chemistry for them throughout the other two books caught my attention, but the way it built up to their actual book and played out in this story, I was completely satisfied。 Sadie has some pretty high walls p Okie Dokie, this story was sooooo good it made me wish I could visit the fictional Oakley Island and hang out with these characters。 Ben。 Just Ben。 *swoon* I have been highly anticipating this story from the very first moment Sadie and Ben had a moment in Eloise and the Grump Next Door。 The chemistry for them throughout the other two books caught my attention, but the way it built up to their actual book and played out in this story, I was completely satisfied。 Sadie has some pretty high walls protecting her heart。 She has a perceived idea of who she thinks Ben is and is extra guarded toward her attraction to him due to a previous bad relationship。 When Ben intervenes to keep her safe, their forced proximity cracks those walls and I just loved watching them fall in love。 The whole book was fun to read。 I loved their flirting back and forth。 Each POV gave me insights into their emotions and thought process as well as endeared them as main characters even more to me。 I loved the patience Ben had and the way he cared for Sadie。 There is something about a hero taking care of the heroine that just touches my heart and makes me swoon。 I also love when that same hero sees the female MC's strengths and encourages them。 Ben checked all those boxes。 The epilogue and super epilogue were FABULOUS。 I already want to reread this book。This is a closed door romcom。 。。。more

This was another good one。 Merritt, you're still my favorite! Fine。 But for the record, if this were a spy movie, my character would be played by early 2000s Sandra Bullock。”As for who would play the heavily sighing agent on the phone, I’d cast a Hemsworth to play his part。 Probably pre-Miley-Cyrus Liam over Chris。 This was another good one。 Merritt, you're still my favorite! This was a cute, quick read。 Benedict was swoony from the start and he and Sadie complimented each other well。 I'm not sure why it surprised me, but while this didn't have a lot of language it did have some。 For some reason I thought this wouldn't have any。 Maybe that was my own misunderstanding。 Otherwise, it was a fun read。 This was a cute, quick read。 Benedict was swoony from the start and he and Sadie complimented each other well。 I'm not sure why it surprised me, but while this didn't have a lot of language it did have some。 For some reason I thought this wouldn't have any。 Maybe that was my own misunderstanding。 Otherwise, it was a fun read。 。。。more

Another great book from 2 of my auto-buy authors。 This one completes the series, and it does it so well。 There's what we all want in a story: closed door, mild suspenseful drama, crazy-good banter, he takes care of her when she's sick, forced proximity after he "kidnaps" her, surprise cinnamon roll man, and there are even animal encounters。 Sadie and Ben make the perfect couple。 They wrap this series in an amazing HEA with an extended bonus epilogue。 I've really enjoyed this series, and this was Another great book from 2 of my auto-buy authors。 This one completes the series, and it does it so well。 There's what we all want in a story: closed door, mild suspenseful drama, crazy-good banter, he takes care of her when she's sick, forced proximity after he "kidnaps" her, surprise cinnamon roll man, and there are even animal encounters。 Sadie and Ben make the perfect couple。 They wrap this series in an amazing HEA with an extended bonus epilogue。 I've really enjoyed this series, and this was the perfect bookend。 I don't want this series to end。 I've loved reading the stories on Oakley Island。 。。。more

I was so excited for this book! I have read all of the Markham sister’s books, and I couldn’t wait for this one。Sadie was a pretty guarded character。 She had been hurt many times before, and she was not going to trust another pretty boy flirt。 I really liked how strong she was and how she was willing to fight for what she wanted。 I felt like I understood her character and why she wasn’t willing to trust Ben at first。 And I loved watching her and Ben finally come together。Ben was adorable!
